Hate to be pedantic, all parts of the tree cannot be used. Much of the upper canopy is dropped in the field as heartwood initiation does not extend far from the main bole except in major limbs. This also goes for the roots. Spent charge can be used for incense, yes and I acknowledge I was a bit loose in the definition in the previous post. But it's also powdered in the process to make incense.
