I was thinking about the platform infustructure as it is the smartness of a app that makes it usable and profitable for the "runa"to actually be able to make money. Yes multiple collections from one point and delivery to similar area but as dominoes have shown the real value is in logistics routing etc etc.
I agree and the cost of paying a bonus? to early adopters prepared to do deliveries will be interesting as in theory there is people with excess capacity ( bike courier , uber driver etc ) existing whose extra marginal cost of delivery will make it possible in some areas but integration of all the platforms to have you your best income will be the app I would be looking at.
What is the advantage over a uber driver on airtasker offering a delivery service? . Foodora offering it on other products ? New icon on sites and their riders getting fuller hours of delivery and more income .?
Pricing and execution essential to getting critical mass and I am not sure of a first mover advantage or any high barriers to entry.
This is not going to be quick adoption in marketplace unless it is well implemented an d they will initially need support and deep pockets IMO
