There has also been calls in some sectors for a Royal Commission into CSG. personally I doubt we'll see such of anything anytime soon, it'd be nice to be wrong though.

It's a simple fact that CSG and UCG cannot operate physically side by side and QLD is most definitively a CSG State. One of the reasons I'd prefer South Aus, but CNX Coal resources aren't there and at the moment we don't have the money to be buying such as far as I know. CNX present bank balance is also a concern. I certainly hope that the info is correct and we get a result from Qld Gov within the month.

For any new comers over the last year or so, this is a particular good read from Neil Scott Lawyers. In particular from 2.2.1 onwards, with exceptional note of 2.3.5 IMO there has yet to be significant public awareness of the difference. Indeed most people appear to be unaware of the difference and indeed do lump CSG and UCG together. I've been saying it for a couple of years that there is a need for public awareness for this if CNX is to succeed, especially where any social license is required.

Which brings back the 'leaked' allegations against LNC and the subsequent lambast by Alan Jones and the President of Lock the Gate, who to me seem to be lumping UCG in with CSG.
