Interesting regarding acidic layer between diamonds and waste covering it.
When at Kimberly diamonds we did not have that problem from memory. But we were mining the pipes predominantly also.
funny re pink diamonds at Argle.
We had the Geo's make a big stuff up and even though we said it was good diamond bearing they told us to use for road surface and in fill!
So some roads on site are paved with diamonds including a big ramp at the plant!
