UFC189: (superlative) unbelievable!

I actually thought Chad Mendes would have had a much better gas tank (as her purported to "always be in shape"), and even though I enjoyed Connor McGregor's media nous in the past, a part of me said "it's time some humbles him" - to make him an even better fighter in the process. Sometimes also came across as a Mayweather wanna be of MMA. Don't get me wrong, I love his press/media, and especially his last comment about Joe Aldo going to see his gynecologist. Even Chad and his team laughed out loud on UFC embedded video.

Chad showed he has the ability to dominate Connor, but lacked the gas tank. 'Next time' I believe things will more than likely go the other way (if Chad also keeps his damn hands up).

Frankie, the real-life Rocky Balboa in my book - what a HEART!!, with his striking ability technique (better than Chads - although less power); better movement in and out; and of course, quality of wrestling on par with Chads, I believe, would beat Connor. UFC brass already stated straight after the fight "it makes no sense for Connor to fight Frankie". Having risked Connor with Chad already, no way on Planet Earth will they risk him against Frankie.

Joe Aldo is STILL the 'champ'. Until you displace the champion, cannot be the champion. As per Daniel Cormier (another good speaker) needing to displace Jon (I don't obey the laws) Jones.

Hope you enjoyed the fight card as much as everyone else seemed to have enjoyed the event.
