NZ is an important test market because it's easy to penetrate while also being isolated enough so that if something goes wrong it can be easily fixed without ruining the reputation. Alot of tech companies use it, for example Facebook will normally roll out updates there first.
Also, with the head office in Auckland and 9SP being a NZ company it's extremely important. If they can't make it work there then there's no hope at all going global. I would be watching it closely and if they can capture a significant percentage of the market there then that would be a huge buy signal.
Heartland bank is pretty small but idea for first launch. I would be surprised if it was one of the 4 main banks but it's possible though. Will find out soon enough.
