Here's the rub.
A relatively unknown fundie (he who cant be named as Yoda has been pinged by HC Moderator) has raised $300m and marching towards $400m for his global equities LIC according to AFR.
Imagine this. If George of CGA managed same feat and raised $300m for CQG rather than the smallish $100m actually raised. Thats extra $1m cash a year.
And very inportant for CQG shareholders, all the high fixed costs like listing fees, audit fees, directors fees can be spread around more. Large optimum sized LIC equals win-win. Small sub-optimal LIC equals lose-lose.
