Also, I would like to remind everyone that the Mining Ordinance 2015 which gave rise to "The Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2015" - definitively extinguishes any purported claims to mining land that were NOT subject to an RP or PL as at the date of the Mining Ordinance

Vedanta /HZL did NOT have a granted RP or PL on the land as at the date of the Mining Ordinance (as they had their ML etc cancelled long ago for not developing/building the mine!)

IRL should win the Tribunal case

But as we know, India can be unpredictable at the best of times...
