Hi Freddie. I'd rather not share too much on a board like this (mainly due to a few posters like the ones you see above) but I'm in contact with a few large holders. Big brokerages can request a share register for their clients, so up to date info on holders isn't too difficult to get hold of.

All I'll say is that when the next one becomes public, I think you'll find quite a few of the large holders (who follow this stock closely) took advantage of the shenanigans of late 2018 and increased their holdings. Some by a large %. As I said at the time, the actions of a few, who thought they were more intelligent than the rest by attempting an arbitrage, opened up an opportunity for some others to buy more (by taking options for free!!) and thus have now created a much tighter share register. If you don't think conversations started a month before the expiry date (when it became obvious what was going to eventuate if the games continued) then you're just being naive. Like I said before, even I was shocked by the stupidity of so many "investors".

Now, what happens next is anyone's guess, and while I am indeed frustrated by what I perceive are games being played with the share price to accumulate a position at these prices and condition holders, I don't post on here when I have "a bad day". I'm not a trader, and I will hold until one of two things happen. It will either be we're well into digging, or it will be when the first piece of information is released by the company with a plan or direction of AVL that blindsides everyone and as a result I don't think we will get to where we need to be. So far that hasn't happened.
