The timing is just off whichever way you look at it, as the results of this would directly effect the resource upgrade and DFS.
I am guessing they want to keep to the DFS release timeline when really these holes should be included and started a few Months earlier. Or DFS delayed to incorporate them, but no one wants that.
I think it is exactly like you said, they had focus on exploration and perhaps this was at the expense of the full due diligence at T3.... And simply started this infill drilling too late to match the DFS timeline.

Otherwise, learning from the results that earlyish open pit has good veining/grades continues to make the stand alone T3 project more appealing. And considering that is all we are being valued on at the moment in my opinion, great news.

The announcement was very careful about emphasising the 'open pit' drilling/resource. What happened to the T3 Underground resource estimate? Is there a chance there will be an updated DFS at some point in the near future (post the end March DFS) that incorporates the remainder of the T3 'open pit' infill drilling and adds in the T3 Underground as well?
