I think a lot of companies release ann's after hours so it gives people time to read through all the info. Gives the pre-market the next day plenty of time to build but sometimes the heavy volume can come in 1-3 days after announcements on some stocks. Honesty as long as you release an announcement on a flat to positive ASX day I don't think it makes much difference.

RUM should punch through that 40c resistance today with the DOW pushing through 13000 overnight if we get decent volume.
