Yeah it can be tough at times operating in some far off jurisdictions. I sure wouldn't want to piss off Glencore though. El presidente of Tanzania just may find himself being replaced by someone who is more favourable to the company.
Glencore's behaviour has at times been compared to the past behaviour of the United Fruit Company. For those unfamiliar it is the parent of Chiquita banana's & use to regularly instigate coups to topple unfriendly South American governments.
