saggito and dh72 .......I keep seeing this "independent" thing and it cuts no ice with me, one way or the other.
The two P's were too close to the areas and naturally stood away from the decisions (Peter being very much a vendor of sorts, of course ruled him out), but Peter Swiridiuk is a long standing director of FNT (albeit 'independent' but nonetheless a member of the board) since he finished off from COY when Wangfu Huang moved in there, and Swiridiuk conducted the review on behalf of the FNT BOD of which he remains a director. (Lot of Peters around the ASX methinks).
Where the "independence" comes in escapes me. As far as I can see it is indeed a "bread and butter" board level decision, as darkhorse72 mentions, and it was rightly handled as such by FNT.....one thing they have done well, and according to Hoyle, and nothing wrong there.
I reiterate my earlier view that I feel -respectfully- that FNT has improved its situation a bit in this instance.
