I agree that change won't happen overnight and cobalt demand is probably a few years away from peaking but it's current producers (like BHP) who stand to benefit most from the high prices. Considering JRV have just invested over $10m AUD in eCobalt who are targeting a 2020 production date, I'd say it's a fair bet they realise the urgency and will probably never fully develop NiCo Young.
