For every article in favour of cobalt, there's as many (if not more) saying it will be replaced. IMO, Tesla in partnership with Panasonic will be the first to stop using cobalt. They have pioneered EV's over the past decade and in terms of battery engineering and design technology, JB Straubel is second to none. I'm keeping a close eye on Tesla's lead because the other car manufacturers are lagging way behind.
