mm no, have you ever tried to process shallow material? Clays are a nightmare, hence the laterites here in WA were never successful in the late 90's
That is why Reserves are identified before a mine is developed, the prospectus states that these deposits are too small to process and that no met work has been done on the oxide and the sulphide has a 70% recovery. So small surface deposits stay where they are. Yes they dead easy to mine, but processing them is altogether different.
