See this purchase of wearables tech by google last night? The question every retailer and telecom will ask is "why dont we want to be part of this category?" As the fastest growing tech category in the world, you are either part of it or not....and if not you better have a good excuse as a buyer why you are not to senior management/board. As the best and safest tech - and remember the uK stocked all those chinese crap watches - there is little doubt in my view MGM will not sign several distribution deals. When the UK is already years ahead of Australia/NZ in tech adoption and JB hifi and Spark too the watch how can UK not?
