Sarg, i am very familiar with Josh Pitt, Dalrymple & the Thunderbox Gold discovery. I made a packet out of that stock. I have for many years owned stock in a number of Pitt companies. There is nothing that anyone on here could tell me about him that i don't already know. I also well know whats involved in this game to not only find the goods but to monetise them. Over the years I have been fortunate to be involved with a number of good discoveries.
My issue has never been with who is backing Peel. My issue has always been with the way those at the helm communicate with retail shareholders and the market in general
When a PFS for M.B takes in excess of 18 months with no justifiable reason given for the continually missed deadlines then Houston we have a problem. As i posted yesterday i do not believe for a single minute that the major holders are as in the dark as we are. It would be beyond belief to think so. But the fact they are still on the register also does not instill in me the confidence to sit back & adopt an attitude of "Josh & SBM are still here so everything must be good " Josh has had his fair share of dud investments & getting it very wrong over the years. As for SBM, well they could end up being a Trojan Horse.
I also do not subscribe to the idea of calling the M.D if i have any concerns. This is a public company. Not an unlisted entity. I'm not stupid enough to think that he is going to tell me anything of significance on the side that he has not released to market. He has to be careful. He doesn't know me. For all he knows i could be recording the conversation & playing it back to ASIC. I have spoken to him on occasion & personally found it to be generally a waste of time.
Given what has been found, the low price of this stock speaks volumes about the general market discontent with what is going on. Peel is not a hidden gem that has yet to be discovered. The market is well aware of who is backing them and what they have found thus far. But it wants to see something more than just a glacial pace, meaningless chatter & broken promises. So do i !
