Thanks PSI. I am wondering how you can be so sure of 5, max 10 mscf/d from looking at that flare ? that is a very tight guestimate you use there.

Your mention of heavier hydro's could well be right as they did get measures of hydro's up to Pentane 5 I seem to recall when drilling some of these wells. I cant recall which one though - might have been davenport. I am no O&G specialist so I am not sure if "Pentane" is the right term.

STX management seem to be playing the game of projecting low expectations and then outperforming with the actual results. that suits me just fine ! And they didnt suggest 30% saturation originally. They said min 30% and that there was lost gas in the cores when they measured saturation originally. So in all reality I think the company believed they had cores that were closer to 50% saturation. But yes 50% to 90+% is substantial in anyones terms. A nice surprise as you say.
