    OK but I figure you are using/relying upon the results of certain calculations/formulas that have imbedded assumptions based upon previous proven CSG projects?

    If as you say, the rocks can throw up surprises (some of which have already materialised) could your models be wildly wrong? By that I mean are they based upon (for instance) the characteristics of typical QLD (eg Fairview) or American (eg Powder River) CSG fields which we know to have much shallower and thinner seams than the Cooper coals?

    I ask because sometimes we just believe our future assertions based upon past qualified experience without ever questioning their accuracy in light of changed circumstances. These Cooper coals are much deeper and thicker than many text book examples. For instance, I can clearly remember plenty saying long ago, based on depth alone, that STX would never get gas to surface - full stop! STX have done that already.....the perm looks amazing.....the water easily manageable - surprising many a pessimists!! Are you one also?
