Best wishes HC and thanks for your many posts through the year. The EFS was disappointing but the Cooper is looking promising.
It's early days and all IMO, however, if I'd been handed this announcement back in say March (with a 18/12 date), I would have bitten the person's hand off!!
Back then there were reasonable doubts expressed around thermal maturity, gas saturation, permeability (at these depths) etc etc. We have gas and possibly a lot, it does flow and the wells seem very low capex cf other unconventional in the Cooper.
I really appreciate the many technical posts on this forum, however, I don't place much reliance on hypothetical attempts to read too much into flow rates and permeabilities at this stage unless all testing assumptions/actions are explicitly stated. With respect, it's pin the tail on the donkey stuff.
