there are a couple of annoying things in this preso imho.

    this is all imho only.

Just WHY won't STX reveal the actual flow rates?
yes, I know they don't wish to publish a "headline rate", because they think it might be misleading?

So just what is THE most important variable and factor, in the business of a gas exploration and would-be production company?
    Yep, gas flow rates.

So just why does STX refuse to publish this crucial info?
It is my understanding that all ASX listed coys have a legal obligation to provide investors through the ASX all info which is relevant and material (and known) in order to keep the market informed. ie Continuous Disclosure obligations.
The progress of the gas flow is crucial to the development and viability of the company. It is crucial info for s/h and investors.

If the coy believes that publication of flow rates is not indicative of the potential of the wells, or may be misinterpreted by s/h or the market, then it is up to the Mgt to Explain why those rates are not representative of the final potential outcome.
It is not up to mgt to censor or quarantine the info.
It is their job to give us the facts, and let the markets decide.

frankly, by hiding this info, I think they could be playing with fire.
look at what happened when xyz Ltd (cannot remember names at moment) failed to disclose to mkt that sales and profits were plummeting. They got sued by Class Action lawyers. The people who bought shares because they thought the mkt was fully informed, lost money when the facts were later announced.
So what happens if investors buy shares in STX without being aware of actual flow rates? what happens if the current flow rates cease, and the project becomes unviable? Investors would say, if they were appraised of actual flow rates on a regular basis, they could make the decision as to whether to invest or not.
We are being given "motherhood" statements like " coy is pleased with results", gas flowing to surface" etc etc.- so the implication is that flows are good.

Have a look at Real Energy announcement today.
Their first well flowed unstimulated, deep coals, and they told mkt gas was flowing at 0.2mmscf per day.
they showed a flare similar to STX flare.
so WHY do they see fit to give s/h details of flow rate, but STX does not ??

    Anyway, just an opinion.
