The Cairns Lawyer would be out of their depth with this. IMO
Class action is better with one of the big boys that will take it on for no fee. Someone like Maurice Blackburn would probably be interested in a case like this, especially when Legacy used to put out announcements they were "An NMDC Group Company"
They will put you in contact with one person who specialise in these questions and ask some basic questions to see if you have a case. Announcements released on ASX is a good starting point.
These firms used to ask for a minimum of 6 shareholders to bring on a class action case.
