Once I made the online application, I got an email in which there was reference to the the SPP closing and in brackets it says 'including if the SPP closes early'. It would be good if it closed early but they are more likely to do a scaleback I think. Anyone out there with more experience with SPPs of large cap companies that can shed some more light on this?
The way it stands, there is almost 18% to be made by taking up the SPP. Wouldnt the shares get way oversubscribed?
