not get off topic, but i have read a lot of apc's anns - along with all of the other sop hopefuls, and have never got the impression that apc wanted to revert to a gold company, just doing enough work to extract value for shareholders - we are yet to see what that value is, so maybe nothing??

perhaps the bigger question might be that with all of the ground that so4 hold how much attention have they given to the gold potential within their tenure? or minerals other than sop - like ni/co? i realise that companies need to keep focus, but there are many stories of companies being too tightly focused and walking away from significant deposits.
