I sent an email off to Wayne to clarify, but I don't think they receive on-going payments from the individual businesses unless those businesses also contract directly to SKF to access their data analytics. So far all contracts have been with the shopping centre itself.
I couldn't see smaller stores being interested in the service beyond what information/assistance they would get from the shopping centre, but it may interest the bigger retailers like a Myer/David Jones.
Very interesting question though, hopefully Wayne can shed some light.
