my guess (and its only that, a guess), is that the results are worse than expected and they did not want to face the music with whomever they were trying to do a placement with (raising the money and then tell them a few days later there is a crap drilling result). If the result was looking like a good one, I suspect they would have played hardball on pricing a bit but still proceeded.

I am usually a glass half full kinda person...but this time I suspect the glass is half empty!
