Yes Graphene might be used in small quantities but the graphite market will survive on anode material alone.
Graphene is interesting because it potentially has a huge range of applications. It is supposedly 130 times stronger than steel and harder than diamond. Imagine the market if it starts getting used in building applications, or new alloy materials. Planes, ship construction, tank armor (all just my random thoughts). Could be a major disruption
