G'day Rickh and others.
Well I am really, really disappointed in Sipa now.
Many of us sad old bastards, and other long term holders, were only in Sipa for Thaduna. We liked the lack of sovereign risk and the much hyped crap that came from Mike.
I pretty much knew when Mike left the company that we were stuffed. There was no way that he would miss out on the glory of a large copper find that, as he often said, " he had pegged that ground for Sipa long before the likes of Sandfire and others had come to the area."
So now, we are in the jungle? Well that is bloody lovely. We don't even have a popgun to defend our rights there.
Have I missed an update regarding the recent journey to The UK for fund raising by Lynda and support staff? I would have thought by now that they could have given some sort of update.
To sell out for $2,000,000 is a joke no matter how desperate for money they are. Why not just wait, and do the minimum amount required to keep the tenements going, and come back later if there is so much potential there.
Sandfire must think that they can drill the ground or why would they take it on. I bet that they must not be able to believe their good luck.
The advantage of phoning the company, or any company for that matter, is that you are totally concentrated on what they are saying, and are not distracted by other goings-on around you when face to face. The most important thing when talking to them on the phone is the " pregnant pause ". When you ask a question, and then there is a pause, That should flash a warning. When I asked Mike about Thaduna he said, " Someone will find something big there one day." SOMEONE!!!!!!????????
Well I wouldn't like to be the cat at GZ's place when he finds out.
What faith can we now have in Sipa finding anything worthwhile in Idiland when we have been so led up the garden path at Thaduna?
They hype up their prospects everywhere they go and then just abandon the area and move on to the next flavour of the month. The same thing is likely to happen in Uganda in my opinion.
REALLY CHEEZED.
