I think a good example to look to is EXU. I was able to buy more shares in EXU at 10.5c after the board had agreed to the takeover and it still took the market a few weeks to realise that this meant you got 1 share in RMS for every 4 EXU shares plus 2c cash. I think this was the easiest money I have ever made on the ASX.
With small companies the market can be less than rational.
