2 maintenance people
1 admin person
1 manager

Each plant
2 or 3 operators for sand machines per shift x 3 shifts
4 or 5 Dozer drivers per shift x 3 shifts
4 or 5 sorting out the truck/train loading per shift x 3 shifts
2 dogsbody per shift x 3 shifts

I don't know if the dozers and such like equipment are included in the capex figures. If not, there is a cost to procuring/hiring these items as well.

So, the labour costs above could be under $15k per day against 6k tonnes of sand out the gate - potentially in the order of $1m per day turnover.

Even though all of the above is made up off the top of my head and having no relevant experience or knowledge, you can see that opex is going to be virtually insignificant compared to the turnover. I would love to hear from somebody with actual experience in a similar situation who could add some credibility to these numbers - or completely rubbish them if they are bollocks.

How many people at the portside? Would this be done by the port and charged?

For a 300tph / 2mtpa operation, they would need to be 24 hour round the clock for 300 odd days a year.
