Interesting post. While you might hope you are sitting on "some of the most valuable ground in the world", reality is that at present it is not. Recent trades of prospective land are proof of that. While its becoming apparent there are a number of areas in or near conglomerate that contain gold which might be economic, it will take years to determine whether or not it is.
Not every shareholder has the patience to see this out especially when they are other options to bring rewards sooner.
And not every company has the cash to see it through. Many are developing conventional projects with much more certain returns, at least in the medium term, and selling their assets may be the best way of returning value to shareholders.
KAI is in an enviable postition, doesnt need cash ATM so can afford to wait. But you can hardly blame the likes of DEG and MZN for looking at offers in the future.
You are entitled to your dreams, but dont be surprised if the market doesnt share them if they have little evidence to support them.
