Maybe if there is sufficient physical/optical/magnetic /spectrosocopy variation between the ore and stock work/country rock then maybe an ore sorter machine could be used to separate the ore in veinlets from the gangue prior to processing .
If it worked it would increase the grade and potentially reduce the size of the processing plant needed , plus lower energy cost per # of Cu as milling less gangue prior to flotation .
Pantoro Ltd (PNR) seem to be getting good results from their ore sorting machine .
