re: Ann: Shut in of the Brockham Oilfield, We... Please be advised that Key Petroleum Limited, as part of its evaluation of the Brockham Oilfield, will shut-in the Brockham wells.
This procedure allows for an evaluation of the wellhead pressure data as part of an evaluation of the Greater Oolite Reservoir, together with production data, to achieve a better understanding of the economic future of the Brockham Field. This procedure will commence on 10 February 2012.
During this evaluation process the Company will take the opportunity to pursue a new access agreement with the landowner now required.
We look forward to providing further details of this study and how the Company will progress the Brockham Oilfield.
Interesting action, I wonder how long the shut-in will last and what the outcome will be.
Presumably they will be looking to see if it is economical to continue production at Brockham.
