Good analysis rocket - I hopped back in after previously losing patience with ABY's lack of action with its mountain of cash. IMO this bid by MLX is a grab for cash with plenty of room left to sweeten the offer. I Googled MLX's advisor Xavier Group (never heard of them before) and found a link to Milan Jerkovic who was the former MD of SRQ which flogged Nifty to ABY. My senses tell me that he may be looking to buy back the mine which would leave MLX with even more cash. Milan is currently with GPR which has just pulled in a bucket load of PE cash for its copper project in Cambodia and he may be on the hunt for other copper deals (like the PE group that just bought Mt Gordon).
