hiphop, whats the greatest concern for IRL going forward is STILL the speed of getting things done in India.
If only the little story in the shareholder update announcement referring to Mr Shartri comments were true, its somewhat reassuring but I take it all with a grain of salt.
"Mr Shastri commented that India is open for business and has significant demand for resources and mining expertise. The Indian Prime Minister is seen as very progressive and Mr Shastri has observed significant two way flow of business between Australia and India. "

To me its just more BS, its just like the Asian saying "leading the little doggie up the hill with the promise of a bone"

Last year Narendra Modi was elected largely on the hopes that he would deliver growth and jobs, instead of concrete steps, backed up by real money and progress, it has only resulted in a lot of talk and hot air so far.

No concrete decisions have been made and the decision to reopen the Surda Mine is a prime example.
More than a month ago the Indian Gov't announced “the tenure of the mining leases of all government companies or corporations whose mining leases have been expired and renewal applications have been made in time or which are due to expire…will stand to be extended till March 31, 2020″.
There are 1000 people unemployed from the Surda Mine shut down, not including the flow on effects to families and businesses in the area, but so far nothing has been done.
If the Gov't was fair dinkum the mine would already be reopened.

If you want progress then you need action, not softly spoken words.
What about the other ML, RP, and PL's that IRL has on the books. Not a single one has been fully approved where people can start being employed. Again just more hot air and bureaucratic hold ups.
The Modi Government has some great ideas but will those ideas ever get off the ground?
When will we see steel mills pumping out more steel to rebuild and extend railway lines?
This year, next year or 2020?????
When will the new copper mines like Rakha begin production?
    When will Surda reopen?
Until we see some real action, then as far as I'm concerned its just more BS and hot air.
