Hiphop, Part B was under the original CMPL RP1. You'll note from the Lease details below that Part B is the top area (shaded yellow) and was originally ML10/89 HZL . HZL had the ML application rejected due to inactivity. CMPL has not done any drilling in this area.
The original CMPL RP1 was purchased from Michael Kiernan's associate Captain Shailendra Pratap Singhin in 2007 for $1 and 2.5 million shares which he promptly sold. Singh most likely picked up AUD$0.5 million.
I'd say that IRL has decided not to apply for Part B as it may have hindered the application for Part A. The section that has been drilled and is not under HZL old applications or rejections.
Part B is the best of all the areas and IRL has done extremely well to get this entire area.
ARAVALLI FINAL LEASE BOUNDARY
Hopefully news will start flowing more rapidly now, as its now reaching the final approval stage.
"Demarcation of the mining lease boundary is the first phase of the process in the granting of a mining lease. Further work is also underway including preparation of environmental reports, forestry and other clearances, other statutory requirements and development of a proposed infill drilling programme. "
