The array at GI will provide 30% of Garden Island's power requirements at it's current size. When the $300 million upgrade is complete this will drop back to 10%.
The implication there being that a lot more power will be required in the future to provide security of supply.
He showed an aerial photo of the solar array on GI and made a point about the space available for future expansion.
