So could the PTO be recessed partially into the buoy or would that limit power generation as it is somewhat limiting with regards to the dynamic loads, On the tether you would get 100% of the force applied in line with the pump and no lateral force would be at play (which a recessed system would create).
With regards to the linear generator - did they elaborate on that? I wonder if they could also implement something like the WITT generator inside the Ceot6 - there is clearly enough space in a 20M dia Buoy - even if internal floor space was 17 or 18m (due to chamfers) you have stacks of area to install additional kinetic movement generators. Ceto could be in excess of 1.5M quite easily.
