Speaking generally, I give management and directors credit for 'skin in the game' but also realise that the directors and executives get shares early at very low cost, then get bonus shares and options and salaries and other fees from the company etc... etc... So the headline that Mr X has $10bn invested in a company is sometimes misleading. I just posted about DTE and Andrew Austin comes immediately to mind. If people thought the people who had 'skin in the game' were selling, the value of their 'skin the game' and the sp would suddenly be worth only a fraction of the original.
Speaking specifically about ALT, I think the ALT guys are at the better end of the spectrum imho.
