They would have been happy to let the share price drift down for this reason, now they will want to see it up to get the best deal possible with HUNAN.
I would just about take any deal at the moment.
I believe the mention of 50 Million TPA in the announcement was intentional. Any deal i believe will include the rights to additional tonnage from Clive to enable the economic's of a plant the size to produce the 50MTPA.
ARH understand that they cannot afford to "Call Wolf" to the market with a possible deal again , after previous let downs. For this reason i believe they must be very confident and hence the no news for such a long period.
We will see.
