Indeed. Reassuring to see ARG increase its stake in DUI to become DUI's largest shareholder. I think it'd be nice to see some consolidation among the quality LICs: MLT and CHO would make for a good merger, as would AUI and DUI. This would lower the management fees to virtually zero (as a percentage of assets) and would mean higher returns for us partners. Seems silly to be paying Charles Goode and Graeme Moir twice when they could effectively be doing the same amount of work with an AUI/DUI merger.
