So you really don't know what the revenue or profit will be for the company in the next 12 months?
This is why i would rarely call a mining company a "sound" business. To me a sound biz is something with a mote of some sort to harness repeatable and relatively certain income. Mining companies for the most part are destroyers of capital in the long run and are a total gamble on favourable commodity prices and exploration success. Payout ratios are almost always poor. Of course none of this matters to a trader and i'm not about to say you can't make money from miners; just that there are a plethora of better businesses available at every market cap, in comparison. End of the day though, always good to see the little guys have a win and i can only say well done to those who time these things right.
