I dont see how a buy back could supress the share price, it should do the opposite.

I agree with your other points. I suggest you ring David Stevens and express your view. I did last week, and got the impression that plenty of other holders have let him know how unhappy they are.

Maybe the director changes announced today are reaction to the unhappy shareholders, or maybe they were forced to make such a change.

In any case, management wont get much support from shareholders if someone else offers a takeover at a higher than market price, but still at a discount to the assets per share.
