The equity raise and the loans don't have to be formally linked to be still linked informally. We all know these things are murky.
Given the way the credit markets are going I am happy WAF has finalised everything now rather than pushing it out into the new year where who know what will be happen in the credit markets. A couple of the big banks in the USA couldn't get away some big bond issues this week as the market is becoming very skittish over debt. This is definitely the time when a bird is hand is worth two in the bush.
