That is that the company has failed to transition from start-up mindset where selling a story for capital is key, to producer-in-the-making, where making and meeting commitments like timelines and honest communication are key to show stability.

A board full of fundraisers is the obvious symptom of this, along with Paul Burton failing to manage expectations - sticking to the uber-optimist story. The $15M raise without explanation was the watershed.
