I see this as a positive. The current premium to NTA was getting too high and that meant I wasn't considering accumulating any more FGG. The SPP gives us all a chance to add to our holdings at a fair value rather than the current premium value. Sure, the SP will revert to closer to NTA or even a discount in the short term, but this kind of fund is really not for the short term. I think over time FGG will again trade at a premium and it deserves to because of the savings in fees.
