The problem for any nuclear reactor being put into space has been the rocket might explode and shower us with the neucleides. That's why it's never done.
(People have always wanted to power spacecraft with an n-reactor because 2/3 or more of the cargo is usually fuel in conventional rockets.)
Please don't come back at me with ICBM's. (It's in the design for critical mass.)
