Salvatore, you are spot on with your thoughts on how the product should be marketed. Coles or Woolies should be all over this given the point of differentiation. This is a sensational product with a compelling proposition and it looks like the execution is letting it down. I work in a big FMCG business and this is the sort of product and innovation that one of the major retailers should love - yes they will pressure the margins but a marketable, differentiated product with a creative and intelligent promotional campaign should get this over the line. Presenting a potential equity stake or exploring distribition through a larger supplier are the types of arrangements that should be explored.
It is frustrating as I can't help but think that a small group of entrepreneurial and committed people could easily turn this around...
