    jophda, although I thought your opening line about agentm's knowledge was unnecessarily provocative I nevertheless say good for you for buying some XST, and rising above your perception about "what the market seems to think". I agree that the stock looks like a Buy.

    On the question of what the market thinks, if the market in fact had perfect knowledge plus perfect judgement about consequences, the eventual announcements would have no price effect. However worthwhile price changes / reratings often happen on similar kinds of announcements e.g. here are two of my resources favourites:
    • from years ago - when the Savage Resources -v- Western Mining case was resolved (re the Ernest Henry discovery). As I had expected, and many others but not the "market", Savage was successful, and had a good rerating, was later taken over, and made huge profits for those who bet against the market on the outcome of the court case;
    • from last last year - when Kidman Resources crunched Marindi Metals in a Supreme Court case that I posted about at this link # 24980100. Kidman was then 49.5c. Resolution of the court case, in their favour, led to the deal with SQM, which came at a great time for lithium stocks. KDR 4 bagged, safely, in less than 1 year.
    I thought Marindi's case against Kidman would fail and that the market hadn't correctly priced that in, so I bought a few. Fortunately, that turned out to be so. Unfortunately I didn't have the good sense to hold Kidman, and I just took a modest profit and left the stadium - way too early. The point is, however: the market does not always know.

    For what it's worth, here's how I've viewed XST's case against this mob:
    • I thought the XST's summary judgment application was "worth chasing hard" - ref. my post #27725256 of 6 October 2017;
    • the summary judgment having succeeded entirely, I thought that "XST shareholders have very good leverage here. They'll get worthwhile $ IMO" - ref. my post # 29664362 of 15 December 2017.
    Time will tell whether I called it correctly but I won't be spooked because some in the market think differently about this issue. That's the opportunity I'm trying to capitalise on. Good luck!
